I have over 26 years of successful business as a Realtor, Business Broker, Mortgage Lender, Insurance Broker, Money Manager, Debt Elimination Expert, president of Smart Money Concepts (since 1994), author of three financial books and single mother of two.

I have learned that it is not how much money we make that is important, but how much we keep. As a real estate agent I was stunned at the number of families making above average incomes who could not provide a 5% down payment and meet the mortgage companies debt to income ratio necessary to buy a home. Again, as a Business Broker, I discovered that most entrepreneurs were selling their businesses due to lack of financial management knowledge. They were all good mechanics, beauticians, storeowners, doctors, etc. but they were working too hard and keeping too little.

Further answers about America’s money problems came to me with an introduction to an A. L. Williams Investment spin off company; families did not put money away for Johnny’s college or retirement, because they were barley making it from month to month.

I soon began to realize that the public's money challenges derived from poor or little money management training and that a successful solution would require a strong spending and debt elimination program. Families must keep more of their hard earned money and gain control of their financial lives.

Since 1994, thousands of families have become debt-free due to attending my Smart Money Workshop. The Smart Money Guide is a result of my passion for more financially independent families as well as my workshop attendee’s enthusiasm and questions.
